Since the beginning, d line’s design philosophy has been to create products that respond to a need. It started in the 1960s when Knud Holscher was working under Arne Jacobsen at St Catherine’s College Oxford. It was his need for a high-quality, coordinated line of stainless steel architectural products that led him to design one – d line.
Every product is meticulous in form, function, feel and construction. Each detail of a d line item is rigorously tested for seamless functioning so that it endures. This is why d line is known for being resistant to wear and tear and for only needing to be bought for the purpose once.
