In the heart of Copenhagen, where creativity pulses through the streets, Mugshot - a forward-thinking hair salon, has undergone a transformation that balances sharp urban character with a sense of enduring calm. The vision behind the revamp was to create a space that feels globally relevant yet unmistakably timeless.
Tasked with reimagining Mugshot’s identity, creative agency Alpine Office crafted a spatial concept that seamlessly merges bold aesthetics and everyday functionality. Through a thoughtful palette of greys, black, and white, punctuated by vibrant yellow tiles and steel finishes, the space now tells a story of refined contrasts and modern elegance.
As part of this reimagination, Alpine Office turned to d line for architectural details that are built to be both seen and felt. The inflated pull handles from Tom Dixon’s Fat collection deliver a sculptural presence on the cabinetry, equal parts statement and function. By the washbasins, Qtoo taps and sanitary ware from the Knud Holscher collection integrates seamlessly with the space. Each element plays a role in reinforcing Mugshot’s identity, where style meets substance.

Through a considered blend of visual storytelling and resilient materials, Mugshot now stands as more than just a salon - it’s a curated experience where design, craft, and daily rituals intersect.
