Short answers to the most frequently asked questions about Re-handle
Re-handle gives selected d line products a new life by restoring their appearance and extending their functionality. Here you can find answers to the most common questions about eligible products, finishes, lead times and the process.
We aim to restore the product to the best possible condition. However, as the product has already been in use, some visible signs of wear may remain. The product’s functionality is guaranteed for an additional 20 years.
We can Re-handle brushed and polished stainless steel, as well as brass variants. Products with PVD-treated finishes cannot be Re-handled.
The process takes approximately eight weeks from the products’ arrival at our production facility until they are ready to be returned. For larger projects, the process can be planned in stages to keep the building operational.
Once a Re-handle order has been placed, we will provide the necessary boxes and packaging materials. You will also receive packing instructions, and collection can be arranged afterwards.
We recommend Re-handle every 20 years. However, it may also be relevant earlier, for example during renovation, refurbishment or changes to a space.
In principle, we can Re-handle any quantity of products included on the Re-handle list. For small quantities of smaller items, however, we assess whether the process makes environmental sense.
Products on the Re-handle list can be Re-handled if they are no more than 20 years old. Older products are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
