Minimalist in form, maximalist in innovation

by d line

Realised in AISI 316 stainless steel, these are already-loved pieces from our Qtoo collection of wall hung and counter top taps, that have been given new functionality and an amplified hygiene factor by being fitted with motion-activated technology. The result? A clean look with cleaner functionality.

Minimalist in form, maximalist in innovation, technology and hygiene credentials; we’re proud to launch our first line of Sensor taps.

Honouring our heritage

d line has remained a brand that is admired for its close attention to quality and for its strong and minimal design ethos. Design that endures both in its style and in its strength. That’s why we will never compromise on the timelessness of our design, even when our solutions are pioneering in their technology and material. For Qtoo Sensor taps, our goal was to continue the precision-designed, minimalist aesthetic that is iconic for the collection. That’s why we’ve aspired to integrate the IR sensor within our existing 90mm roses, for a streamlined look across the entire Qtoo collection of built-in taps and shower fixtures.

Staying true to our design ethos, our new Sensor taps further reduces the spread of bacteria by eliminating manual operation, and is realised in our favoured rust-resistant, non-corrosive and marine grade quality steel – to withstand high traffic, humidity and, most importantly, the test of time.

Combine technology, hygiene and sustainability

With a battery lifetime of 4.6 – 8.4 years depending on usage and an optional cleaning mode of 60 seconds for the maintenance team, our Sensor taps are fully optimised in their innovation, all while embracing the latest advances in motion-activation technology with adjustable sensor parameters. Each piece comes with a Flexbox that is easily installed, accessed and protects the electronic parts.

As with any Qtoo wall mounted piece, the Sensor taps come with pioneering multi-adjustable built-in units for safe and easy installation. Staying true to the Qtoo sustainability principles, all stainless steel parts are 100% recyclable and comes with a 20-year guarantee. Sensor taps are further a highly sustainable water saver, issuing better control over the water consumption to the building owner, as a way to preserve and reserve water for a greater cause.

Fusing collections and colours

Available as wall hung or counter top mounted, our Sensor taps are perfect for optimising bathroom hygiene. Matched with our hand dryer, Touchless soap dispensers or Touchless paper dispenser by Knud Holscher, the pieces become vital elements in a well-maintained high-traffic area.

As with any piece in the Knud Holscher and Qtoo collections, our sensor taps are available in stunning PVD metal finishes.

Choose between Brass, Copper and Charcoal in either satin or polished finish. With the addition of sensor taps to our portfolio, d line is now more than ever able to achieve complete cohesion within architect-designed spaces.
