At Vesterbro Dental Centre, the interior environment has been carefully shaped to feel calm, welcoming, and reassuring from the moment patients arrive. Through the considered use of solid brass lever handles and sanitary solutions in brushed and polished PVD brass, the clinic demonstrates how thoughtful material choices can transform expectations of a contemporary dental setting.

From the outset, the ambition was to create a space that supports patient wellbeing as much as clinical function. As Rami Channir explains; “From the very beginning, our vision was to create a dental clinic that felt calm and welcoming for our patients. We wanted to move away from the traditional clinical atmosphere and instead create an environment more inspired by wellness and hospitality.”

Interior design therefore became an active part of the patient journey. Materials, finishes, and details were selected not only for appearance but for their ability to communicate care, quality, and confidence. This approach shaped the decision to specify sensor taps and sanitary ware in PVD brass alongside Classic and Arne Jacobsen lever handles in solid brass – creating a consistent architectural language across the clinic.

“We wanted materials that contributed to a calm, timeless and harmonious expression. At the same time, surfaces and details must be highly durable, hygienic and easy to maintain in everyday use.”

Working closely with d line, the clinic selected solutions that balance aesthetics with operational reliability. Touch-free taps with hygiene flushing help reduce the risk of bacterial growth and support stable water quality over time – an important consideration in a busy healthcare environment. Combined with durable constructions in AISI 316 stainless steel beneath the PVD brass finishes, the result is a solution designed for intensive daily use while maintaining a refined visual identity.

Reflecting on the collaboration and product selection, Rami Channir says; “We were looking for products that combined durability, hygiene, simplicity and a strong design identity. d line was the right choice because their products offer exactly that balance.”
